There was a time in my life when I didn’t know how to slow down. I was constantly in motion—building my bookkeeping business, raising a family, and trying to juggle everything without missing a beat. At the time, I thought pushing through the fatigue was a sign of strength. But over time, my energy dwindled. I found myself exhausted, irritable, and on the verge of burnout.

 

Recognizing the Signs of Burnout


I vividly remember that turning point in my life. It wasn’t a sudden change but rather the slow realization that my body had been trying to speak to me all along. The tiredness I felt, the stress that had built up—it was my body’s way of telling me that I needed to reset. Learning to listen to my body’s signals has been one of the most transformative lessons in my self-care journey.

It's amazing how shallow we start to breathe when we get busy or stressed. 
2. Hydration: Start your day with water and a slice of lemon. Hydrating early helps flush toxins and boost your energy.
3. Set Boundaries: It’s crucial to say no when needed and protect your energy. Prioritize rest, and don’t feel guilty for taking breaks.
4. Clear Your Space: A cluttered space often mirrors a cluttered mind. Detox your environment to improve mental clarity.
